The Ram Dev Sarda Maha Vidyalaya, in Bihar, is one of the endeavours of the Chandrakala Devi Sarda Charitable Trust that has been a means of effecting social advancement.

The Literacy rate may have increased a manifold in our country in the recent past. However, education has still been evading a major fringe of the society. The Chandrakala Devi Charitable Trust has been created to serve this neglected and underprivileged section. The Trust found its origin in the hands of Mr. Ghanshyam Sarda, the kingpin of the Sarda Group. Drawing on the virtues imbibed from his father Mr. Shiwlal Sarda, Mr. Ghanshyam Sarda set forth to improve the quality of education in neglected areas and contribute towards discovering hidden potentials and creating a superior human resource for the future nation.
